Let Every Word I Speak

When I posted "Angels are among us every day" on my facebook status, a good friend who has gone through some really tough times messaged me to say that I am one of those angels.  I think, maybe, we all are at some point.  It made me think of how I need to always think positively.  That does not mean not feeling pain or being down; it just means knowing there is always a light at the end of the tunnel

Let Every Word I Speak

Let every word I speak be of love and understanding
May I never criticize when I don't know the path you walk
Let my heart be kind and loving, let my hands be warm and giving
May I always see that everyone lives in the heart of God

Every morning the sun rises, even though the clouds may hid it
And sometimes we can smile, even thought there's pain inside
The love of God shines on us eve though there my be darkness
And no matter where we go, from this love we cannot hide

Let every word I speak be of love and understanding
May I never criticize when I don't know the path you walk
Let my heart be kind and loving, let my hands be warm and giving
May I always see that everyone lives in the heart of God

Sometimes I will stumbe on the rocks that line my way
Sometimes I will grumble when the world does not seem fair
But I pick myself up from the ground and see a bright new day
With faith and hope and love as I seek a better way
